Pupil Premium & Schools -
What are you doing on purpose to support your Pupil Premium children?
What is in place above and beyond the normal parameters of the Pupil Premium Grant?

Introducing a new and innovative way to use your Pupil Premium Grant. If OFSTED asked ‘How are you developing reading experiences for your Pupil Premium children?’ How would you respond?

Although budgets are tight – to me there is no better way to spend money specifically designed for developing and enhancing the children’s educational needs and experiences. Not only do children look forward to receiving their own post each month, it also means they can build their own little library/ book collection of their own. Tracking the impact of using a 'Book in a Box' is easy - as children are more engaged and excited to talk about their special book delivery they regularly receive.

1. Reduced cost for schools

2. Simple set up

3. Feedback/Impact forms provided

4. Flexibility to suit your setting

5. GDPR Compliant

We offer 3 main boxes in our PP service - KS1, Year 3/4 and Year 5/6. As a Class Teacher and Literacy Leader - I hand pick the books myself. This ensures the books we send are age appropriate and high quality. Barrington Stoke books (high interest/low reading age) are available upon request for those children whose reading ages are significantly below their chronological age.

To be able to measure impact - we now offer feedback forms for the boxes, that the children hand directly to you. This provides you with direct feedback and shows an immediate impact Book in a Box is having for your children!
